Monroe Farmers Market and Winter Market on the Square
We should all know by now that Farmers Markets are a great place to buy locally-produced fresh fruits and vegetables direct from the grower! If it's important to know where your food comes from before you put it in your body, there's nothing like getting it from the person who grew it. Yet most don't realize that there is so much more available at your local Farmers Market.
For example, Monroe Farmers Markets and Winter Markets offer a variable smorgasbord of artisan-prepared foods, crafts and collectables you won't find in your local grocery store. Each trip to the market offers a new variety of products depending on the season and vendors present. Offerings can include honey, jellies, pies and breads, plus treats for your pets, cutting boards and handmade cooking equipment, and even soaps. Of course, you're sure to find fresh produce when in season as well as a variety of butchered products.
